Canadian Certified CounsellorI have worked in this field for over 20 years with a diversity of people. I have a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology and am certified by the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I’ve been a Career Counsellor, Addictions therapist, and Psychotherapist treating depression and anxiety. I also have a passion for group psychotherapy. I’ve been trained in CBT (Cognitive behavourial therapy) and DBT (Dialectical therapy). My orientation is socially justice minded; and I believe we struggle largely with the circumstances of our cultures and hence families (issues of identity, belonging, purpose). I have trained also for 12 years with Diamond Approach school – which brings a rich addition of a spiritual lense to my work. Most importantly, I do my own inner work – we can’t take someone where we have not yet gone ourselves.
