You Have More Influence Than You Think

More often than not, there are simple things we can do in life which have significant impacts on our mental health and well being. A simple exercise routine for example; a healthy diet; less sugar and caffeine; or structured sleeping habits can improve mental health dramatically. Even the way we "Think" of ourselves and others can affect how we feel. Depression and anxiety are what they call "multi-causal" and require multi-causal solutions. About Me

While we each struggle in a unique and individual way, human beings all long for the same things: freedom, connection, belonging, purpose, peace, safety, love. It is the deep and personal understanding of these common longings that informs my counselling work. We are complex, and yet very simple.
I have been practicing since 2003 and am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Feminist Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy and Group Therapy. I work in both private practice and for Oupatient Services with Vancouver Coastal Health. I also have extensive experience studying and practicing meditation and am a long time student of the Ridwhan School. Most important of all, I strive for authenticity and kindness.

"Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, 'I will try again tomorrow'."
~ Mary Ann Radmacher
